About

Signs Outlet is a signage solutions provider based in Toronto, Canada. The company wanted more organic visibility in the local search results as they were looking to build a recognizable brand in the signage space. But their current online presence did not align with the goals that they wanted to achieve.

Challenges

Although Signs Outlet had a website, it wasn’t able to attract local organic traffic, and the conversions were quite low as well. We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the website, and we were able to find the following issues:

  • No Visibility in Google Maps: The brand did not appear in Google Maps or the Google 3-pack space, which was resulting in a lot of missed opportunities for the brand.
  • Lack of Local Citations: Signs Outlet had very few listings for the business in the local directories, and this kept their authority in the eyes of search engines quite limited.
  • Missing Local Business Schema: The website didn’t have Local Business Schema set up for it. Google couldn’t identify the business, its location, services, and contact information as there was no relevant schema on the site.

Solution

Once the challenges were identified, our focus shifted to creating a unique local SEO plan of action for Signs Outlet to help them outdo the competitors in their target service area.

  • Google 3-Pack Ranking: We created and optimized the GBP for Signs Outlet and built its local authority to help it get ranked in the Google 3-Pack. The Google Business Profile has accurate business details, optimized GBP posts, and positive reviews which have contributed to better rankings on the Google 3-pack.
  • Local Citations: Our team listed the Signs Outlet business on the popular local directories & online platforms. This helped establish authority for the company which also positively affected its presence in the local search engine results.
  • Local Business Schema: Implemented relevant local business schema to help search engines better understand the Signs Outlet brand. This schema improved crawlability & indexing of the website, making it rank higher against relevant local search queries.
